On The Money takes an analytical approach to mutual fund trading utilizing a variety of indicators assessing technical, cyclical, and fundamental factors. These include use of my own proprietary tools. On The Money includes my daily commentary and analysis, as well as dozens of charts showing various technical indicators. The daily update includes active links where you can obtain additional education on the technical analysis, if you desire.

On The Money began as a traditional investment newsletter. The first issue was sent out in April 1990. At the time it was called Mutual Fund Money Letter and was owned by Howard Ruff.

Howard Ruff recognized the unique nature of Dennis Slothower's approach to mutual funds and felt a newsletter devoted to Dennis' methods would be a boon to small investors. He offered to publish it if Dennis agreed to write it and the newsletter was born.

During the early 90's the newsletter was acquired by Dennis Slothower's money management firm and the name was changed to Dennis Slothower's On The Money. It is presently owned and managed by Dennis Slothower's publishing company, Alpine Capital Publishing, Inc., Alpine, Utah.
